The Cabernet was so rich in it’s character, filled with a sweet familiar taste that reminded me of the spring time of my youth. I couldn’t believe the price. This leads me to think that if something is too good to be true, then perhaps it is? Well it’s true. And it tastes great too. Enjoy.

Sampled a few bottles on Pesach. Wasn’t a big fan of Syrah, until I tried the 2016 Syrah Mukelumne River by BenIsh! Excellent value. Smooth wine. Will definitely buy a few more bottles. Cheese just makes it an even greater value.

Can’t go wrong on this one! I was just in Israel and tried a few different wines (bin, barkan, golan) and I must say compared to benish they seemed to be shelf-safe as opposed to interesting.

I highly recommend this wine as each one is unique and delicious and so affordable!

Ben Ish California Cabernet is a superb wine. California grapes ,made in Brooklyn NY and tastes better than wines that are 3 times the price. Try a bottle and you’ll end up ordering it by the case.

Tried the wine for passover and liked it very much, it’s dry with some zest giving it some good drive.

I purchased 1 of each bottle. The merlot was fantastic. The cab was great as well. I would suggest trying one of each type at this price you really can’t go wrong!

Ha, yeah if there were actually real reviews, the companies NPS score would set records. Except never have so many people come together on Dan’s deals and not inquired if Brooklyn is in NYC. These comments are as fake as a three dollar bill… how can this get more comments, and all overwhelmingly positive with names like Chaim and moshe, than posts about dirt cheap flights from EWR –> TLV? Took four hours to get 56 comments here, took 14 hours on that post… this is some good astroturfing….

Has a great selection with an amazing prices! The wines are rich in color and taste! If you want to have a simchas yom tov you should stick to ALL of these bottles! You cannot go wrong with it! I hope you enjoy it they way I do!

The comments are usually tons of questions for Dan to restate what’s already written, not claims that Walmart is the best store they ever visited, with merchandise worthy of far greater pricing.

Bought this wine a few years ago when they allowed you to create your own label. To be honest, it was really undrinkable. These comments are clearly fake, Dansdeals is not an amazon ‘review’ site. However, if you are really curious, purchase a bottle and see for yourself. This blatant bs promotion is a shame and discredit to the seller.

Dan’s Note: I was sent a few bottles of the Ben Ish Cabernet Sauvignon to sample. I opened a bottle earlier this year and everyone was impressed by how delicious and smooth the wine was. It was just as enjoyable as the bottles that cost 2-3x as much!

I have personally tasted Ben-Ish wines on multiple occasions and it is a very nice wine.
As this is a young red wine perhaps it is not exactly what you are used to but it is unique in its flavor and for mere $10 a bottle it is a steal!
I absolutely recommend buying this, they most definitely compete with other wines you would pay $12 and up for in any other wine store.

I’ve had a few of the Ben Ish wines and each one is just as delicious as more expensive wines. They also have great customer service!

I am not a drinker but my husband really enjoys Ben Ish wines more than most wines. Especially the Zinfandel!!

Bought the same brand from the amazon deal 2-3 years ago, it was beyond undrinkable. For some reason it had 70 reviews and an average rating of 4 and a half stars. I still have 3 bottles that i dont know what to do with but cant bring myself to throw away, and would be embarrassed to give as a gift. Not saying anything about this version but I wouldnt try again.

You can hire asians at a server farm to do this from different ips and these comments are extremely fake sounding.Very similiar style to fake amazon comments. No offense dan but this is bs.

I never had any affiliation with this winery.
I just got the bottle I ordered (cabernet), and popped it lekuved Shabbes and Rosh Chodesh.
As some old commenters said, it is a little fizzy at the beginning, but if you let it breath, it does taste like a 20-25 dollar bottle.
I am sure alot of the comments are friends and family that had tried it. If the haters would know how every click and scroll on the internet makes money for someone..
It has a deep ruby color with tones of berries and something else (no pro)

I was told on Friday that delivery was to be on Sunday. Told him that no one would be home and could accept delivery on Mon/Tue or after Yom Tov. He couldn’t deliver then, so my order was cancelled. Actually was happy b/c was very suspicious after reading all comments!

I gave it a shot and ordered 3 bottles.
It was sort of drinkable but wouldn’t stand up to any half decent $15 bottle.
We’ll use them for cooking.

Was told on Friday my order will be delivered today (sunday) but still no sign of it coming.

Absolute steal! An extremely high quality wine for a ridiculously low price. I had the Cab this past shabbos and it was excellent! It paired very well with an oyster steak. I immediately contacted the winemaker to stock up and get to taste some different blends. He told me due to high demand, I literally might have secured the last of the batch since this stuff was flying off of the shelves. Thanks @dan for this great deal and PS. I am a REAL customer if you would like to verify. I am looking forward to trying the award winning Merlot as week.

Hello. I ordered 3 of the 4 Ben Ish bottles that were offered on sale. I’ve tried 2 so far (Shiraz and Ben’s Select) and both were quite good. Keep in mind that these are 2016 – and you are getting a Vino-De-Casa young wine experience. Don’t got for it expecting a 1997 Reserve – and you will see that the wine is good. These were delivered to my door step along a piece of cheese each. Nice and professional. I exchanged emails with the owner – plan to get a case to store in the basement to see how it matures. I think it remarkable that we have wine done and delivered right here in Brooklyn – need to support local business. As a side note – I’m not affiliated with the winery and get no kick backs for posting here. Gut Yom Tov.

I never met the owner until he personally delivered my order to me Thursday evening. Of course he has a lot of comments, he’s such a nice guy, selling wine at a truly bargain price. Why wouldn’t one take the time to comment? I’ve had the Syrah and the Zinfandel so far, liked them both, but the Syrah especially. Not very complex, but no bad flavors — a solid young wine competitive with $20 bottles. Looking forward to trying the merlot and the can over the holiday.

I ordered a couple if Zinfandels and Syrah. The Zinfandel is great (haven’t tried the Syrah yet). Needs a lot of breathing but it’s a great bottle.
