if the minimum stay is 10,000 how if you pay $90 for 15,000 do you get three nights, what am I missing? thank you

Bec they have point breakers for certain hotels every 3 months which are 5,000 points for a night.

So nights are usually 10k-50k, but every once in a while any given hotel can run a sale on any of these categories for 5k a night. In addition to normal ways of earning points, we can do the 6/27th #32121 post of ‘booking with points and cash-> cancelling->receiving refund in points only’ or the above 6/27th post #32127 of buying increments of 5k at a cheap price.

Question: is there a list of which hotels are running a 5k point break sale at any given time or we need to go hotel by hotel to find out (which is what customer service says)? T/Y

looks like this is a better deal then transferring 5000 ultimate rewards and then book a for 5000+70$ which ends up to 15000

I just bought 50,000 points with my AMEX for 292.50
Will use 45,000 of them to buy a hotel night at cream of the crop IC property in Asia that would have cost $567 if I had paid cash.

I bought a package of points at 1:00pm on Friday thinking I could use them for 6/30 – 7/2 when I was planning a small getaway, and now I see that there are no points in my account! Apparently, I missed the fine print of this deal… IHG’s site says it can take up to 10 business days to receive the points!! 🙁

How can you tell what category (or how many points) a specific hotel room is?

you can allso ask for a loan for the points if you give the confimation number that you purchesd points on line
