1) book the refundable option it costs $1.50 more but at least you get money back if you cant make

2) if you are booking new years or christmas, make sure you book two nights so you can chill there the whole day instead of leaving at 12, it will only cost you $9/10

Dans Deals Seminar Palisades December 31??

Booked a 3 night stay one week in Jan (I figured I can always cut it down if the dates don’t end up working into the work/school schdule), one night in Jan another week and one night in Dec.

Got confirmation #’s (you can get those on the site) but no emails yet.

I wonder if it makes more sense to buy non-refundable in hopes that they might be more hesitant to cancel those…

Funny. Everyone was focused on my including me but they have 14 other properties. Now the whole booking system is down and I wonder if other properties could have been booked at same prices. They have a nice location in napa.

Roommates alerted me to this post. For anyone interested this deal was active since at least Wednesday. Bookable on the hotel site and OTAs such as booking.com As usual I gave them a couple days to fix and then sent it out on my eletter. No one owns a public deal and often multiple people come across the same deals. Thanks to OP and Dan for letting people know. @John: I have a pretty wide overview of available rates and did not see the same discounts at other properties.

i get email notifications when a post is found, is there any way to specifically get email notifications only when there’s a price mistake (i.e. if amazon is having a sale, i don’ tneed to get a message right away, or see about a credit card offer right away) – but i would like to get notified when ther’es a price mistake like this or airline tickets etc….

@Next vacation: Yes, you can log in at the site and view all your reservations. There’s a link that says “modify” – but you don’t necessarily have to change anything. I did that to get screen shots of the bookings.

BTW, interestingly enough I got a confirmation today (only one of them) that reads $0.00 cost. Weird!

They seem to be honoring it. I called and the woman I spoke with was very friendly, gave me confirmation #s for both the reservations I made and said she will send me the emails manually. I got one stay at 8.50 and one at 11.50!! Now does anyone know if this hotel is nice?? I booked it just because it was so cheap! Dont know if its worth making all arrangements for the kids!!

Rcvd confirmation email today. Also said room cost $0.00. I called and girls says that she shows it booked at $10.00 p night so dont worry. It’s not $0.00. She also confirmed that the hotel will provide a Sefer Torah for Thursday January 1st due to overwhelming demand.

Just spoke to a rep and she said they got over 600 reservations in 30 minutes. Due to the glitch pricing they are manually hovering these reservations and sending email confirmations one by one. It will take some time however it will be honered at the end!!!

I just got mine today. I’m still confused about the $0.00 after reading the posts above. Is the $10 we all paid only a fee and the rooms themselves were accidentally listed at a rate of $0.00? There’s an * next to the room rate that leads to the fine print about taxes and fees. Also,have they actually charged credit cards yet or they will do that upon checkout?

@I think this deserves a new post.: I just got the same email from them. Has anyone called them to rebook? Can anyone confirm that they really honored rebooking the glitch? My original confirmation email from Jan 19 says $0. Will they book again for any night this year for $0?

Yes, they are honoring the same rate for any other time frame before December 18th. No cancellations charges if you don’t want to re-book.

Yes, honoring the low rate for anytime before December 18th.Just reply to e-mail with new date and will re-book reservation at same rate. Just can’t add more rooms than original reservation amount.

They reschedule no problem! No additional rooms can be honored at this price. Final charges are placed at checkout. Worked out like a charm. If anyone does not wish to keep their reservations, please let me know and I would LOVE to take it over. Thanks!!!
