DDF, or the DansDeals Forums, is a great place to keep up to date in the nitty-gritty of the latest news on miles, credit cards, travel, and pretty much everything else under the sun. Is it overwhelming? If you try to read all of the 1.1+ million posts, of course. But if you start slowly and take the time to digest the info you’ll be wiser for the effort.
Case in point. Back in March DDF member “coralsnake” generously invited DDF members to send him a private message for a code that would allow them to apply for a $450/year Business Platinum card that awards 100K AMEX MR points for spending $10K within 3 months or 150K for spending $20K within 3 months. While it’s not official, people who applied with the offer have also been able to call after getting the card to get an additional 50K points for adding 5 additional users to their account (10K per card). Additional user Business Platinum cards carry a $300/year annual fee each.
I respected coralsnake’s wishes and kept it on the down low, but people don’t always keep things private when asked and now his targeted invite code that he has been sharing to DDFers since March has gone viral across other blogs.
The genie is already out of the bottle and coralsnake confirmed to me that he has resigned himself to his code going public and is OK with me posting it (though he’s sparred in the comments sections of some of the offenders), so anyone can get the offer by calling 877-628-6736 and using RSVP code: L081-994-816-5743
The offer officially expires 05/15. If you do apply you can also apply for other consumer cards and business cards on the same day with just 1 credit pull.
I can’t say I’m surprised about the lack of honor though. I’ve already seen 2 DansDeals seminar secrets (though both not to the full extent) that I always ask not to be shared online show up on the blog of one of my seminar attendees. C’est la vie?
I may get flak for posting this, but once this info has gone viral it only seems fair that DansDeals readers be in the loop as well.

I got this card approved today a few hours before this post went up. I was surprised that Dan had not posted it earlier even though it was all over the forums, now I see why it was actually calculated. He is 100% right about these deals getting shut down when consumed to quickly. Coral Snake has been helping with his code for months. I got one earlier but was waiting till close tot he deadline in order to deal with the hefty spend. Redcard’s demise (or partial demise) definitely wont make this one easier to reach but u gotta try…
I got approved for this offer few weeks ago and almost finished the spending. the yearly fee of 450 is not worth for me, is the only way to avoid it to close the card or can i ask them to get me a card with no annual fee?
