Chase United cardholders can book travel between the US and Europe for as low as 45K miles round-trip on United.com.

Not the most exciting sale as it’s only valid on United and only in coach, but this might be useful for some.

-You can book a round-trip or an open jaw with the discounted rates.
Examples of an “open jaw” include a flight from Newark to London on 01/25 and then back from Amsterdam to Newark on 02/08 is 45,000 miles plus $51.90 tax.
A flight from Los Angeles to London on 01/25 and then back from Zurich to Newark on 02/08 is 45,000 miles plus $59.10 tax.

You can always use 4,500 BA Avios for a one-way flight in Europe.

Rules:
-Round-trip travel is required.
-Flights on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will price at 22.5K miles each way.
-Flights on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will price at 25.5K miles each way.
-Book by 12/08.
-Travel 01/11/16-03/10/16
-Discounted Saver Award is valid only for travel between the U.S. (excluding Hawaii) or Canada, and Europe.
-Valid only on United, not on partner airlines.
-Valid for travel to/from the US48, Alaska and Canada to/from Europe.
-Valid for coach saver awards only.
-Stopovers are not permitted.

If you have 1 segment that falls within the promo dates it will be discounted, even if the outbound or return segment doesn’t fall within the promo window.

Dan not cool that you don’t update us on your travel ordeal, we are only good to vent?

The downside of finding out about these deals is when you already booked 6 tickets (a few weeks ago) and when united refuses to adjust the amount (of miles) you paid for 🙁

Karin

I looked high and low and just could not find the mentioned offer on United’s web-site. 60K miles were the number given when I prospectively asked for an award flight in Jan to Europe. We have a United credit card, with little spend, but enough miles on it.

How do you book open-jaw? Discount doesn’t appear if you book it as multi-city.

Dan

@pH:
It does for me.

steel_lee

I looked at booking a flight, I found 30k from east coast and west coast. I tried march 1st and march 10th, same result. No 22.5k bookings.

How do you sign in with the United CC on United.com
